Student Council
Student Council is the representative and appropriating body of Student Government. Student Council is composed of twenty-nine members. There are
- Four executives (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer)
- Four class representatives of each year
- Two transfer representatives
- Two international representatives
- A council at large
Student Council is responsible for disbursing Student Activities Fee funds, supporting the Essential services like the Yearbook, and representing and supporting the John Jay student community. Find the Student Council Charter here.

Committee on Clubs
The Committee on Clubs is the first step in student organizations receiving money from the Student Activity Fee. The Committee on Clubs review budgets and make suggestions to the organizations before approving and passing the budgets onto Student Council. See the Committee on Club Guidelines.
