Susan Will earned her BA. and MA in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her PhD in Social Ecology with an emphasis in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine. She is co-edited How they Got Away with It: White-Collar Criminals and the Financial Meltdown with Stephen Handelman and David Brotherton and has written about various forms of white-collar and corporate crime, America’s Ponzi culture, and the Orange County Bankruptcy. Her research also delves into legal culture, indigenous rights and treaties regulating salmon fishing between the United States and Canada. Professor Will has taught sociology of law, white-collar crime, social problems, legal sanctions and social control, and criminology.
