Dr. Susan Pickman has managed and conducted civil, criminal and regulatory investigations for over 30 years. She has experience in due diligence, fraud detection and prevention, and management audits. She has also been a “street cop,” has had fiduciary responsibility for 40 million dollars and managed an internal affairs unit. She is the Faculty Advisor and USCG Auxiliary Flotilla Staff Officer for the John Jay College Auxiliary University Program Detachment.
Dr. Pickman holds a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University, is a Certified Fraud Examiner and teaches in the Department of Security, Fire and Emergency Management at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). She has extensive knowledge in the areas of Maritime Security and Professional Misconduct, including Excessive Use of Force, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. She is a court qualified expert witness.
Dr. Pickman is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Society of Professional Investigators and the American Society for Industrial Security.
