Patrice Schiano Dial is a Doctoral Lecturer in the Department of Public Management at John Jay.  A native of New Jersey, Ms. Schiano earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University and a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law.  She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the District of Columbia.  She is also Certified in Financial Forensics from the American Association of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) where she also had the honor of chairing their Forensic and Litigation Services (FLS) Committee as well as serving as an ex officio member of the AICPA's FLS Executive Committee.  As a forensic accountant with a passion for investigation, she has worked on national security investigations for the FBI, high profile cases for consulting firms, and more recently in the legal function of a multinational financial institution in their Global Internal Investigations Group. Ms. Schiano has overseen multi-million-dollar consulting engagements; worked with top law firms on privileged investigations both domestically and internationally; and is a subject matter expert and former FBI instructor on the topic of financial crime.  Ms. Schiano is also a two-time FinCEN Law Enforcement Award recipient.
