Kevin E. McCarthy received his A.B. from Harvard and J.D. from Fordham. While teaching at John Jay, he received his Ph.D. in criminal justice from the City University of New York. He spent over twenty years as a criminal prosecutor, first at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, then at the United States Attorney’s Office in New Jersey where he tried cases involving terrorism, political corruption, and organized crime and served as Chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force Division.
