Masters in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism
Christopher Moore is a writer, editor and lecturer with extensive reporting experience covering New York City. He has taught at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the Writing Program since January 2017.
Moore has edited for the Daily News and weekly newspapers and web sites in New York City and New Jersey. He was the executive editor of Avenue magazine, an upscale publication chronicling the city’s elite. For three years, he has written an annual summer guide to New York City for Straus News publications.
A graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Moore teaches writing at John Jay College and has taught journalism and communications at public colleges in New Jersey. He lives in Manhattan with his husband, Willard Knox.
