Registration for accepted Non-Degree (Visiting) students will begin approximately one month prior to the start of the semester, on a space available basis. Please refer to the academic calendar for session/semester start and end dates, payment deadlines, and other important information. Please note, students educated outside of the United States cannot apply as a Non-Degree (Visiting) student and we do not process Graduate Non-Degree requests.
Steps to Apply as a Non-Degree (Visiting) student:
1. Utilize Global Class Search to view course offerings for the semester of your choosing. Once you find a course/s of interest, please take note of the course abbreviation, number, section, and CLASS number. Consult with a home college advisor to ensure that your desired courses are transferable to your home college.
2. Complete your Non-Degree (Visiting) application. You will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of $65 for each application you submit, so please ensure you request the appropriate semester on your application. The $65 non-refundable fee will appear on your CUNYFirst account once your application is submitted and processed and you are responsible for paying this fee regardless of whether you enroll in classes for the semester.
