Student Government
The Doctoral Program in Psychology at John Jay College has an active and involved student body. In addition to our students holding a number of elected positions throughout the City University of New York, they have formed a Psychology Doctoral Student Council (PDSC), which consults with and provides assistance to faculty in making governance decisions. Faculty and students within the Doctoral Training Programs work closely together to build a collaborative and supportive learning environment for all.
In addition to program and university government positions, our students are actively involved in other organizations, such as the American Psychology-Law Society (AP-LS; Division 41, APA) Student Section. For more information on the student section, click here.
